So this morning I had plans to take pictures throughout the day to post for a 5 of 5 thingy, but work was wierd and busy and I just got sidetracked... I am really rethinking the blog... not that I will stop blogging, but how a I proceed with it... I have some things to weigh out in my mind and how it would effect my personal and professional life for those who run across it... but for now I will keep posting and being silly (which I am sure will continue down the road)... What made think of the blog and a few things in life... I was on the way to work the other day and this chick Kelly Cutrone was being interviewed on the radio... the question from a listener who wanted to know what to do with her life was asked... the girl wanted to be in journalism or something and wanted to know how to break in... Kelly suggested something rather smart... start a blog... write for free for some local papers or blogsites and jump from there... but do what you want and feel you should do in life... do not wait...

As some of you may know, I was in the television business, on and off camera (and won awards on both sides, pat myself on the back)...I love taking pictures and being creative... I have always wanted to write a book (and have about 100 pages from a college class done)...I guess I am some sort of creative person... and the comments this other Kelly made on the radio really hit home... I have been (for the most part) doing somewhat of an editorial for the local gay paper... have been asked to contribute to another local gay blog and I think I will actually focus hard on both now.  I think between those two and this blog, I will become somewhat of a different person, but still the one you know and love (or hate)... I think the whole Facebook thing is great and has dragged many bloggers out of the blog world, but I also notice that many are starting come back, not totally leaving FB, but paying a bit more attention to blogging and writing out feelings in more than 200 words or so... as you can tell, I have a lot going through my mind right now and I think (and hope) it will all be good for me and those who spend a second or two reading this blog...


So this is me this morning on the way to work, well waiting for traffic to pass so I could pull out (hehehe) ... I think I have a man boob there... damn... more focus on the gym...


This is me tonite after a bit of trimming of the beard and hair... though I am still a little thin on top, i needed to trim up things (head, croctch, armpits etc...)

It sucks when you are in a relationship and both of us have long weeks and  just become grumpy.  No fighting.  Just snide little remarks to each other.  Dammit weekend, get here already...

        

Lordy... first, Mother Nature does not give me a snow day, then it really has been a busy ass week for me at work... top it off with other things in life (which I will blog about in the near future, just can't now legally)... I will say that I am starting to feel a bit better physically... my shoulder and neck have been acting up for the past month or so and got bad like before... so the week before last I actually did what my docs told me to do (the first time around)  and started back at the gym... cardio to start until the muscles loosen up in the shoulders and neck, then on to body pump or weights... seems like I have a pinched nerve, but according to docs, it is stress, so I am slowly working back into full workout stuff... for now 30 minutes of cardio and crunches... I hope to move to weights in the next couple of weeks, then getting ready for New Orleans in September.... 25 pound goal to get rid of, unless it is all muscle...hmmmm...

Also, the last few days have been weird.... not at home, but at work... just been feeling weird.... you know how it is when you get some vibes that just make you think... oh well, we will see...

Why am I up at almost 2am.. bedtime... smooches!

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago I pretty much shaved my head down... at that point I had nice thick hair...and now it is growing back... it is not all growing back... ARGHHHH!... I am losing it... not fair... my dad is 60+ and seems to have more than me... I do not want to do the flip over thingy... I know 40 is approaching, but please not yet.... let me get through Southern Decadance... unless I drop 30 pounds, 3 chins and can pull off the bald look... oh well... must go to bed and sulk myself to sleep... later taters!

        

This picture is just sexy to me.  There are no asses, no six pack abs, no crotch shots or buff chest and arms... it is just one of those pictures that lets the mind wander.... for me, two mid thirties guys on a weekend walk along the river... a touch of the hands and quick kiss on the cheek, then to the lips.... no one is around for miles... the front of their t-shirts are pulled up over their heads so their semi-hairy chests and stomachs can rub against each other while kissing madly... this leads to the pants dropping and some heavy petting... of course a little crotch rubbing... and BAM!

Sometimes you do not have to go ALL THE WAY to have a really sexy time... plus, there is nothing like some playful 30 somethings... these two have to be by those fun undies...  Just my thoughts... yours?

Okay..we busted some ass this weekend... and not bathhouse style... yard work style... someone along the way living here before us apparently planted a shitload of grapevines and honeysuckle...which, in turn, took over the fence and the yard to the left of the house and no one took care of it... until this weekend... we want to have nice pretty stuff to look at in our yard and now is the time to start knocking out the old shit....


This is the small pile of shit we dragged off the fence and from beside the house on Saturday... someone actually took their christmas tree and tossed it beside the house...ughhh.... but we still have some work to do on the side and back fence...


This is the pile in the frontyard we cleared off the fence...lots of honeysuckle... but it was killing some nice fig trees,so we freed the trees....


Front left of house after clearing out most of fence... since the fence is old and all, we left some stuff on it so the honeysuckle will grow in,, but we will keep it trimmed up... but we also tilled up in front of it and put in our butterfly bushes and planted cana lillies in between so it will hide the ugly fence, but we will keep it up... can't wait til spring... and down the side of the house there... that is where we got the backyard pile... yes, it was a mess... it is all a work in progress, but we are working it...


This is the otherside of the front yard... we trimmed up the trees and have laid out the line for mulch and other additions of plants... maybe next weekend... but just remember, work in progress... got some edging to do and some grass to turn green in spring, but I think it will be cute when it is done and colorful...

So, Jeff and I are beat the hell down... but in all the yardwork, the highlight was my father and stepmom coming by with my brother and his girlfriend and my niece... I have never really come out to my father, but after over 6 years of living with Jeff, buying a house, moving three times and all, this was the first trip my dad made to Richmond and actually came to see where I lived.  Usually i would go to see him at my brothers place and that was that... but now he has seen where Jeff and I live... I think he is easing into what he knows... we don't discuss it, and that is best, since we would both feel awkward... he offered to take us to lunch with everyone else, but we were doing the yardwork thing... he slipped me some cash against my will, and said for us to order a pizza and take a break later... he is too nice... later on, I spoke with my brother and asked him how dad was... he said it was good and I should not worry... but all I can think of is back in my freshman year of college when my dad came to parents weekend... i had gotten my ear pierced the weekend before, yanked it out as he knocked on my dorm room door... nothing said...until several weeks later when I was going home... he said, 'just take the earring out'.... I am worried, but I think since he has a grandbaby thanks to my brother, he may be easing up... but it was a nice, short visit... but my dad came to mine and Jeff's house for the first time... I still don't know how I really feel, but I feel something... we will see how it plays out and I think it will be okay...

Alrighty... Jeff's dinner is smelling awesome, so I am going to get off here... fix a drink and get ready for closing ceremonies... later taters!!

        

As much as I would love to chug the  vodka, the top is actually on the bottle... It has been a whacky week work and other stuff... and it is only fucking Wednesday....


I wish I could be like Pino and just crash whenever I wanted... and I preach to him everyday... clean the floors, get dog hair off furniture and dust... but he does not listen...

The last couple of weeks have been great for me.  We moved into a new place.  We got lots of snow, though no snow days for me... and because of the snow, well work has been a bit tough since not many folks think of life insurance when snowed in... but our friends have more than helped get the house in order and break in the fireplace and screened in porch... lots of food and fun.... but the last few days have been blah...yes, the weekend was great weather-wise, Jeff busted ass and we got some plants in the ground since we could see it again... but work Monday and today were BLAH! I feel a little more pressure for different reasons, but I need to pull through... the last few weeks I have also started having the same pains from the neck through my left arm as before... so last week I started doing what the doc told  me to do,.,, exercise... mainly cardio, no weights until things are feeling right... but still a bit of pain... but as I have entered into week two, with two days of cardio under my belt, I do feel a little better... I guess the stress in neck and shoulder are lifting ever so slightly... but if I don't feel better by next week, i will venture through the whole doctor thing again...  I am liking the new gym... well, new Gold's location.... much larger and much much more eyecandy... and tonite, i actually was watching a movie in the theatre room in the dark while doing cardio... very coooolll.... time flew by (even though it was a silly movie)  but i am still in a funk of sorts... mainly work related and also some personal stuff (that will come about on here soon)... hopefully things will move in the right direction... i don't want to jinx anything, so I will not keep on that for  now... oh well, here is how i feel...



I just want to lay on my back and sleep, and maybe somebody will rub my belly...  I was thinking after I played MegaMillions and Powerball this week, what the hell would I do with a huge jackpot....over $50 million.... first I would take care of mine and Jeff's families... then I would fund whatever research my best friend Sloan (a smart as shit chemist/researcher (PHD ladies) would want to work on... our other friends would also benefit from funding for things to make them happy... Jeff and I would be able to hire the hot latino house/dog keeper... invest in some smart shit (I know a few finacial advisors I would trust)... take some time off and travel... maybe even bring BOSSY along...how does cross country in an old caddy convertable sound....mmmmm...  but I figure God will not allow me to win the lottery because he knows outside of all I would want to do for everyone, that I would bring a lot of his children to the darkside with drinking, sex, bad habits, shellfish and nice clothing... yikes... oh well... it is late and I am going to get into the Pino position above...well, with an ice pack on the neck and gonna brush my teeth first...hehehe... TTFN
