Pictures from the last two days!!
I did not get a chance to post yesterday since I was off all day and basically did nothing... well maybe a few things... so here is a wrap up of some things over the last couple of days...
So after some yardwork Sunday, Steph and Amanda made their way over pre-Oscar to help Jeff prep food for the little gathering for the awards show... they are making lemon pound cake, which they made as little cupcakes... delicious!
Should I be wearing a tux shirt??? hmmm....

Steph did have her hair highlighted and wanted a pic posted for her mom to check out... Hey Deborah!!
Joe, Laird and Chris also showed up and the kitchen was getting full as more food was being prepped...
Fried Mac and Cheese....
... and it was delicious!!! That and all the wine and other food!!! I did gain 5 pounds... but it was fun having all over for food and drinks and pre-Oscar stuff (like trashing what everyone was wearing)... Barbara Walters was pretty good too... it was funny seeing her go back through the years hosting this event....hehehe... so, since I forgot to put on the calendar that I was gonna snag Monday off, I emailed it in Saturday, then was able to sleep in Monday...but what I did not expect was for the weather to be awesome! Jeff was off too, so we got up and did even more yardwork in the morning.... If everything we have planted blooms like it should, it is going to be awesome!! Also edged out where we want to mulch, and I broke out the hammock...
Pino and I took some time to hop in the hammock...
We found this vintage glass jug and cleaned it up and now Jeff is going to use it for his red wine storage...hehehe
Pino crashed out in hammock with me...
Of course I had to have the vodka fresca in such nice weather...
All in all, a pretty darn good weekend... got lots of yardwork done... had fun with friends... and enjoyed quality time with Jeff... the reality of work set in today...ughhh...

The pic of the fried mac & cheeze is NOT what I expected. I don't know what I expected, but it wasn't that. Did you end up with lip burns when you bit into it?
