Oh my God!! It might snow, sleet or rain... or maybe nothing...

So after I tooled around the Kroger, this was the check-out situation... all lanes open and all lanes backed up... they were even taking people at customer service... I will say this... I was expecting rude and crude folks, but most everyone was very civil...

My cart... full of peppers and other veggies, beer, Fresca (of course), and other things we may need for the weekend, especially if it starts early due to snow...

Crazy... I know... but hey, we should be good for a couple of days... if we get the small end of the storm, I will do up a couple of pots of chili for Superbowl, and invite folks over. If we get a huge storm, then I will tone it down and just do a small pot... and see what happens... I got all the ingrediants today for both my hot chili and a new more mild turkey chili I have been thinking about... it is now in the hands of Mother Nature... and Old Man Winter...

I know what the rush befor the storm can be! Although no snow storm I have been through several hurricane warnings and hurricanes so stocking up and long queues at grocery and gas station is no stranger 2 me!
Good luck and all the best cutie!

Yep it's worse here in the Big D. But gosh, I never say no to closed schools cuz I get the excuse of having kids to watch so I can't "work" as much.
The new place looks awesome!!! Leave it to 2 gay guys to get all that shit up and decorated in a wkend.
Enjoy the place and the weekend and hope your team wins!

Yeah... I hear ya... We're supposed to get a foot of snow & blizzard warnings are out for South Jersey. I needed a few things from the Grocery store yesterday, and I waited nearly half an hour at the checkout. Good Luck!

That is one thing I will NEVER miss about living in the South... the ultimate panic when any sort of "weather" is coming.
Why everyone rushes to get bread and milk is beyond me. Does the weather make everyone crave french toast??
