Our Turkey Day...

So Thanksgiving was chocked full of food and booze... and friends....  Warning that this a  picture heavy post....

Melissa and Jeff were the head chefs for our feast...

Nothing like a little scotch to make a smurf happy...,hehehe

Jeff laughing it up in the kitchen as food is being prepared....

Must be one serious story... Jeff, Joe and Laird....

I put in my two minutes of stirring....

I helped with the cheese for the the mac and cheese... and that was my two minutes of work, then I got the hell out the way...

Joe and Laird overseeing the cooking...

Melissa getting more butter out the fridge... or maybe a beer...

Loaded mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, gravy, green bean casserole and stuffing...

Laird cutting the turkey...

Melissa and Jeff breaking the wishbone... Melissa won... I wonder what she wished for...

Nothing real fancy... just friends having a Turkey Day dinner...

I did sneak Cricket a few pieces of turkey... and I found out later... everyone else did too...

Pino giving the evil eyes... he wants turkey too...

My loaded down plate...

Melissa and Tony... awww

Leftovers and a full sink... the dishwasher was full running... we can go through some dishes...

Since I did not have to work, I broke into my wine for the night...

We ended the day watching Beyonce and Paul McCartney on TV... Cricket was not really into it... once the news came on, I kind of got sleepy drunk and headed to bed...

I was up early this morning (yeah, I know)... around 8ish... got coffee going... watching the fools standing in line in the pouring rain... people are crazy...

Coffee was not doing it for me, so I switched to bloody mary's and I feel much better now...

So now we are getting ready to head over to the Smurf Village (Joe and Lairds) for a post Turkey Day lunch... I hope everyone had a great Turkey Day... I am sure more post will happen over the long weekend...hehehe... cheers!!!
